Steering Cable Replacement on a 210

What has been the going rate on the dealer replacing a steering cable? I got a quote of $700 from my local dealer which I thought seemed pretty high.

that's probably about right. alternatively, you could do it yourself for the cost of the cable.

Sounds about right. I asked the same question a few years back. I ended up doing it myself.
