Voltage drop when energizing ski locker latch solenoids

I just purchased a 2003 210 and have noticed when I energize the ski locker solenoid, the radio powers off momentarily and sometimes perfect pass will beep. I'm curious if this apparent voltage drop is normal or if I have a wiring issue, weak battery (boat doesn't have dual batteries), or defective solenoids. Any insight is appreciated.

This is yet another symptom of the "barely adequate" wiring up to the helm of this era of Correct Craft boats.
The hatch solenoids use a lot of current to activate. Perfect pass is voltage sensitive. It is normal.

I have a 1997 Ski Nautique. To fix this issue, I fished a pair of 6 gauge wires directly from the battery plus and minus to a buss bar located just forward of the drivers feet kick panel. I then added relays, that coils are activated by the accessory switches on the dash, and the actual electrical load. In my case, a relay controls the horn, the heater blower motor, the head unit, and power amp for the radio.
