Does anyone know if I remove my perfect pass display/controller can I still operate my boat? I was having problems with the display/control and needed to send it out to PP in Canada. I have the upgraded GPS unit with the 2 line display. Is the control unit more than just buttons and a display? I know PP wont work work, but does it disturb throttle function without it? I tried to call PP but it was 10 minutes past their closing time. I don't want to tow it to the Lake and find out i wasted time and gas.
