Trace the wires all the way back from the helm to the engine. Make sure there aren't any screws from the upholstery that may have gone through a wiring harness. Start pulling all the connectors off and reattaching them. Check and recheck everything.

there are a lot of wires in this boat. most of them you can not get to without removing the interior that I would rather not do to a new boat. between nautique and pcm and giving them the exact symptoms would you not think they could narrow the problem to only a couple connections, wires, or components to check?
of the 400 connectors under the helm and behind the throttle maybe only several would cause this. I would like to know if it was a pcm problem or nautique problem.
the nautique dealer told me they could do nothing if the boat was working because it did not throw a code.2016 G23
