    Replacing tower spinner rack bungee?

Hi, I am sure other people have already done this. It looks like we weren't careful enough while securing boards on the spinner racks, to ensure the material that covers the bungee straps is in place. Over time, the material that covers the elastic strands has worn off and it left exposed a lot of thin rubber strands. For the time being, they still seem ok, it just doesn't look very nice.

I guess it's just a matter of time before the elastic strands start giving in.

The clip and triangle shaped material looks in good shape: do I just replace the bungee straps? I saw these on NautiqueParts:

Or do I need to buy the whole clip part again? Link below:

Thanks for your help, I have a 2010 210 SANTE.

You can get complete replacement bungee straps and net for $30 bucks from Rozwell. Just replaced mine after I powder coated the racks.

If the rest is in good shape I wouldn't buy more than you need as the price difference it $50.

I am having the same issue as we speak. I am just looking for new bungee. I found this for a different boat for 10-15 bucks. I will post when I find the place.

I haven't seen them for 30 but I have seen them for 40 (39.99) at Midwestwatersports and wakeboards.com

So, my question is this. does the whole system need to be replaced or can you just replace the bungee? I am wondering if it just pulls through the net. Also, anyone find a clever way to protect the bungee? like a piece of plastic or something that will keep it protected from the edge of boards.

If your cargo net and clip are both in good shape you can purchase just the strap. It can be made available with the rings and tubing required for proper installation. It would be available from either of the above destinations or you local CC dealer.

So I went to the local hardware store and fixed my broken bungee for a total of 8 dollars. I added some thick tubing to help protect the bungee.
