Rope stuck in prop

    DO NOT USE A LONG HOSE LIKE A SNORKEL! I thought the same thing and a discussion taught me a lot. The determination was your lungs do not have the capacity to move the volume of air inside the extended tube and you will just be inhaling the air that you just exhaled over and over again. You would eventually pass out.

    I guess in theory, you could have two hoses. One for inhaling and the other for exhaling, but how would you keep the water out of both of them?

      I would have never considered that but it makes perfect sense. It would not be comfortable to pass out underwater.

        The trick is to inhale thru your mouth (hose) and exhale only thru your nose-

            Agreed- easy to do here in my chair...but in murky water while trying to figure out a rope-wrap it might become dificult to multitask!

                had one of my guys wrap the handle around the prop last year, bent the thing at a right angle to itself, no damage to the prop though, just a hefty beer fine for the driver
