Don't pull too hard on your Bimini arms

Fun day on the water trying to figure out how to deal with this. Don't know if I had a stress riser in the arm already or what. This Bimini has been nothing but trouble trying to get up but when I put a ton of weight trying to get the **** pin in, it snapped. Sweet!
