Loud click but no start 2004 SAN Team

I know people will say the batteries - but I have two fully charged batteries, what I can't tell or know how to test is if it is the solenoid or the relay. I think there are three relays on top of the motor and can sometimes go bad or something. I posted a video but it's for the sound. The beginning is the motor just starting up with the fuel pump and perfect pass. Then you will hear loud clicks - this is me pushing the start button (it is keyless).

OK, still trying to make the video smaller - while I do this - any ideas of how to narrow this down and order my parts?

Sorry for the late reply, but this appears to be a bad starter solenoid. Sometimes the solenoid is built into the starter and sometimes it is separate. I'm not sure on your engine but someone else likely will.
By this time you likely fixed this so please let us know what it was for the next person with this problem.

Anything happen prior to this issue? overheat? dead battery? etc?

simplest fix would be that the Starter solenoid may be stuck or seized. Take a ball peen hammer to the bottom with some good whacks to try and release it. And try again.

If that doesn't change things check that you can manually crank the engine from the back if the block with a wrench. If you can't then its not your starter...

I had a similar problem - would get fast clicking when i went to start with a new battery, jump-pack or jumper cables. Swapped the starter.... same problem. Check your battery cables for corrosion. Not just where the connector attaches to the post, but where the cable attaches to the connector/clamp. Put new connectors on - problem solved.
