    2000 Air nautique 216 GT-40, electrical - keypad issue

Hey guys, I need some of your advice.

I just bought the boat, I inspected it and tried it on the water before buying and everything worked fine, keypad etc...

Yesterday, after 150 miles on a trailer, I put the boat in the water, the boat started just fine. But once the boat is docked, I wanted to stop it and it didn't shut... I pulled the kill switch once and still didn't stop... I tried a couple times and it finally stopped. I entered back the proper Number to lock my keypad and it wasn't working, I still had my Red light on. So I decided to disconnect my battery for the night. This morning, I plugged back my battery, the horn began yelling, I tried to shut it with the left keypad and didn't work. The LHS green light is always on. I tried to enter the proper number to start the motor, and nothing happened.

I suspect the left keypad, but with the kill switch which didn't work the first time, I'm not sure if it really is the problem.

    can you help me?

    Update.

The LHS green light on the port side keypad stays on without punching the code, what could be causing this? Could it be the PME or the keypad??

I just change out my keypad this week. It was doing the same thing. It starts to short circuit and nothing would work right.

@bigredfig, thank you for your input.

After opening the PME, and removing the horn circuit breaker, my port side keypad now works. it still has the left light on, but everything is working: accesorry, kill switch etc... The only problem missing, The horn is stuck in locked mode, but work properly in unlock and run mode...
bigredfig, did you have this exact problem before changing your keypad??
