G25 - What is pump to rear of XS550 under the K&N box up against transom wall?

Haven't checked the manual or anything but mine runs sometimes almost forever it seems after I turn the boat off. I frequently have to turn the battery off and then back on to get it to stop. Another thing for the dealer to look at when I bring it in for the first time

I do know there is pump that's fairly obvious, that's just as loud as the blower motor, that stays on after the engine is cut off, the pump helps with circulation on the the 550 does not goes off until there is only one light left on next to the start button .

Does the 550 have an intercooler? Might be a pump for a water-to-water intercooler that doesn't turn off until a certain temp is met. Just my $0.02.

yes it has an intercooler. Just surprised how long it runs. The old turbo coolers that had motors run on idle after being under way really only kept them on for 2-3 min. This stays on longer. Will have to time it at some point.
