Starter problem - 2006 SANTE ZR6

I went to crank it and got just a "click". Tried 5-6 times. Then on the 7th or 8th time it cranked. I don't know if its starter or starter relay. I also don't know if the ZR6 has a separate starter relay - anyone know? I've heard it might be right under the plastic engine cover but I wanted to see if anyone knew. In looking at parts, they don't specify the engine type.
