    Slight hesitation in the water

I have a question that is difficult to describe. It could be nothing more than the fact that this is my first experience with an inboard. So here goes:

While pulling some tubers, I can be cruising at around 15MPH and there will be this feeling that the boat is hesitating for about 1 second. This is not a fuel related hesitation. It's more like the prop is unable to push hard against the water for that 1 second if that makes any sense. There is nothing wrong with the prop that I can see. Then it's gone and I won't feel it again for a while.

I know it's not much to go on, but thought I'd throw it up the pole and see.

    Thanks

cibka, ask the right question , also what model nautique do you have, this will also help with someone answering your question but 15 mph in my opinion, is real slow pulling tubers( make sure you only tell people you pull on windy ruff days) if not ,,you might not get a answer. but I feel your speed is the problem, you feel your prop cavitation, during your turns.

I suppose it could be during turns. I will be more observant. I appreciate the pointer to Cavitation - Which I have now read up on. I will take note of which prop I have when I can get it out of the water. As far as the boat itself, it's a 2006 SANTE with a ZR6 engine. I have no reason to believe it's not a stock prop.

Hey rob, were you telling me to ask the right question? or saying in the affirmative that I asked the correct question?
