    water in bilge?

Seems like when we take boat out of storage garage and uncover it the last two times there is an inch or 2 of water under engine.Drain plug is out during storage usually just under the cover for the week.We use on weekend. How much moisture or humidity build up under cover is normal in a weeks time? Can there be a slow leak somewhere when boat is sitting all week?Planning To hook up hose and run it and look for drips.Any help?

not enough to leave two inches in the bilge I wouldn't think. my boat lives under the cover in the rain and it stays dry. I could be wrong but two inches in the bilge is a lot of water? I guess a leaky hose could be the culprit. do you leave ballasts full when in storage? perhaps a tank/hose is leaking.

could also be the angel the boat is stored verses the angel in the water and the angel behind your vehicle: what I saying is the water might not migrate to the stern until the trailer is taken off the vehicle, next time do everything the the same, but once put up for the week, get in back and see if the the water starts settling to the stern. That is too much water for a leaky hose, you would notice out in the water because of over heating. my 2 cents

Unlike most boats that have a drain in the transom and you want to jack the front up as much as possible, most Nautiques have a center drain plug. Thus the boat needs to be stored level or slightly bow down if you have a direct drive.

I think it is those water angels that are putting water in the boat.

When I noticed this, the boat was still attached to truck, but was in our driveway which is on an incline maybe why water is migrating to the stern.Picking it up wednesday .first checking if it is dry, then going to run and check for leaks, then try jacking up front on the trailer. Thanks for the help.Oh yeah I will also check under the cover for those sneaky water angles.
