Water in the hull. Possible bad bilge

When pulling the plug in or boat at the end of every weekend I notice there is quite a bit of water standing in the hull under the engine. There is about 2 to 3 inches. I feel like the bilge should be pumping water out if it is this high. Is my bilge possible broke or is this a normal amount to have in the bottom of the boat after a weekend trip?

2-3 inches sounds normal if the bilge pump isn't working and you have wet people getting in the boat. Have you tried pushing the pump button to make it pump out manually?

you should have two pumps, manually is a good test, if they still dont work unhook one, and push button and see what happens, if nothing hook back and unhook the another, still nothing, a short or loose connection some where, but very unlikely , if one works during any of the test the one you unhook is bad,it is causing the good one not to work , keep unhook until you replace the bad one, at least you will have one that works.

Thanks for the response. I know the front bilge works. Just concerned with the back one. Ill give unhooking the front a shot and see what happens.
