    Prop for 2006 SANTE

What advantages would I see in a new prop? Mine works fine for the most part - probably the stock prop, but I do feel some slight cavitation (a term I learned about in this forum last week - thank you very much) during some turns. Also, when the boat first accelerates I see a 3-4 foot foamy fountain streaming from the back until the boat is underway.
I've heard about stainless steel props as well. Any thoughts there?
I'm sure there is a sizing guide as well?
    Thanks

I replaced the 645 on my 06 with the 1579, big improvement. New Prop = New Boat. You will lose a little top speed, but you will gain so much more hole shot.

I do not suggest SS. The brass props will get damaged more than SS if you hit something, but I would rather rebuild/replace a $400-500 prop than repair/replace a shaft, v-drive, or transmission. As far as what diameter and pitch prop to go with... I would give the guys at ACME a call and tell them what you have and how you use your boat. They are very helpful and should be able to fix you up with a good prop.
