I am going to attempt a starter replacement in the fall on my 06 SANTE ZR6. Although I have not set eyes on it, I understand it faces the inside of the boat down low on the starboard side. Can someone confirm that? If anyone has done it, I'd love to know what you have to take off to accomplish it.
I thought my situation was a bit more urgent earlier since it took 7-8 presses to get the motor turning, but that has not happened again it was also after a lot of water ended up in the bilge when a hose came loose. But I don't think I'm totally out of the woods as it has a "lazy" start (and has since I bought it). It's not battery - those are good.
