    before and after 91 BF

    This isn't an ad, but I just wanted to brag about the before and after pics on my boat. I had this done here locally in Orlando, and if anyone is interested - PM me and I'll put you in touch with them. I mean it literally looks new!

    Pay no attention to the trailer, lol.... Borrowed.

    I am restoring this boat and it has been a big job - but fun in a way....

    Wow that came back really nicely! Do you know what steps they took, what grit they started wet sanding with, etc? Looks like they got all of the ghosting from the old graphics off.

      Thanks! I've wet sanded boats before but never got it this good. I don't know the exact technique he used, but I know he started off with dry sanding with an electric palm sander. There was absolutely no ghosting - had to actaully look at pics and measure for decal placement. Finished with "Rejex" brand wax.

        Looks great! I've had to start off dry sanding before, on our old '91 Prostar. That's the beauty of gelcoat, it can be brought back to a showroom shine. MC makes a really nice trailer, so no need to feel sheepish there:-)
