    Perfect Pass Upgrade

I have a 1999 Ski Nautique 196, GT-40 with perfect pass cruise. I am thinking of upgrading to a Star Gazer with Zboz. Has anyone out there done this type of upgrade on a GT 40 and if so, how did it work out.

    Thanks.

We had the PP wakeboard pro module. Does yours have the servo etc? I'm sure it would simply be the dash and the module upgrade if its similar to the wakeboard pro setup. You only need star gazer if you don't have a paddle wheel and want GPS technology.

I think you are describing the servo that adjusts the throttle to maintain the proper speed that is set on the PP.

I kinda thought it was related to the PP. Its my understanding when I upgrade to PP Star Gazer that its all plug in additions under the dash and I dont need to make any additions or changes in the motor compartment,,,,I guess I have that DW (drive wire) already installed. FYI: 2002 SANTE excal 330 w/ PP single line gauge. Will the new upgrade show my engine hours,,,the existing PP does.

Yes, it will, but you'll have to set the initial hours.

Unless the wiring harness is significantly different on PP Cruise than digital/wb pro, your upgrade will involve swapping the master module, adding the zbox, swapping the dash gauge for a multiline display, and installing the GPS antenna.
