Removing the drivers seat back rest on a 2009 SV211

I had a little mishap with my tower puncturing the drivers seat backrest. I ordered a new skin from Nautiqueparts.com (awesome service btw), and I am having a heck of a time trying to remove the backrest. From what I can tell, there are two brackets that the backrest slides into. And it seems that is the only thing holding it to the seat bucket. But I cannot get it to separate. Does anyone know how to remove that backrest?

    thanks!

Could you post a pic? I am not super familiar with 09 drivers seat but on the older ones the backrest does not come off. The skin goes around the back rest so it is quite possible you just need to unstitch the skin on the bottom/back. If you call white lakes or nautiqueskins they should be able to tell you for sure.

Its two pieces, I can see the "hooks" that hold the backrest to the seat bucket, and I am able to wiggle the backrest. Here is a pic of the seat.

If I'm not mistaking it slides up, might have trees on the bottom, its been awhile.

That's what it looks like. But for the life of me I could not get it to budge. The bottom is free, I was able to pull it out some..

Call Buxton or Nautique direct, but I think it has the metal slides and may be tight because of weight pressing on it for years.
