    Daily Cleaning and Polishing

I know there was a thread about this but can't seem to find it. I know that Babes is a popular product for daily cleaning of water spots, but someone mentioned another that I can't recall. Thanks.

I use Ducky water spot remover. It works well on our Texas lakes that have a large quantity of minerals.

^^^ just tried that this Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax this weekend, Walmart has a bigger plastic bottle for $8.... certainly does make the surface look super glossy, smells like bubble gum. Good on glass....

but will NOT remove tough water spots...

This seems perfect for AFTER you get the water spots off...

Scott- I will pick up a bottle of that Armor-all detailer and report back!!

Please do report back. Honestly it really does remove water spots pretty well. Obviously the more water the harder it is. But at least, rather then vinegar you are getting some wax back on there. I use it like every 4th or 5th time out. If you have ability/time/way to wipe down every time you will like it even more. It is great that I can do everything in the boat with it except vinyl. Glass/metal/inside deck.

I was just reading about the bow to stern. If that stuff can be used on gel coat and vinyl then I bet the armour stuff can too...http://www.btsproducts.com/about/instructions/

But does the bow to stern remove water spots??? If it does I may be interested, only because the write up shows "The synthetic sealants in BTS will outlast carnauba waxes 3:1 and will typically produce a brighter shine. BTS sealant protection will last 90 days and more, even in salt water."

But it has to do water spots or there is no point in it. I don't see where it says it. And usually if they don't say it they don't. TxJole, please advise.

Wasn't that EastTexasSkier who ordered the Bow To Stern, it didn't show up on time, when it did he thought it was okay but not great, and sold it to someone else (maybe TxJ)? That's what I remember anyway...

I love my bts. My daily cleaning after bts application consists of a quick wipe down with a sham wow after returning to the dock.

I started with Ducky and move to Bow-to-Stern. I was real happy with BTS on my mainly white boat but am disappointed with it on the black and blue G. It seems to smear more but I'm not sure if it is because the product is now a year old.

No I got some at a Bass tournament, as a sample, it's marketed to bass boats. It hazed on my blue for quite some time till it worked the wax out of the pours I guess. Now it does not haze at all.

i was curious regarding this concept (aka bow to stern) of one product for both hull/glass/vinyl/all else... that also removes water spots. so when i got home i tried my armour all wash and wax on vinyl and it did fine. Removed water spots from the tower aluminum also. I think i will just use it for everything. And maybe use once a year the la's totally awesome.
