2006 ski Nautique, with digital pro perfect pass, DBW. My perfect pass display goes blank, or very hard to read, seems to be tied to humidity. The speed control is working, but you can not read the screen. Early morning, it is a problem, later in the day, the screen is fine.... In communicating with technical support at perfect pass, it sounds like gauge has to be replaced. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this problem, or has a solution, not looking forward to spending $200+ with no functional improvement.

Mine has been similar but usually boils clear after a day in the sun. It must be a POS enclosure to have this problem.
Three suggestions:
1. Adjust the contrast.
2. Buy a second hand control head from one of the promo guys. I think clemsondave or one of the others has several. I think they changed them out on day one.
3. Buy the gps kit...its a few hundred more....oh wait - that might use your old head unit?

It seems to me it is a condensation thing which fogs up the screen & the digits fade away
Speed control is fine but I cannot see digits then they reappear later in the day none of the
Other gauges are affected just the perfect pass would be great if someone has overcome this
Issue seams to be a few of us, is there a faulty seal I'm sure someone out there has overcome
This as is quite annoying
Cheers mark

My 06 211 has the same issue. Definitely a pain when you want to use it during an early morning set. After a couple hrs in the sun I can read it, but it takes that long or longer for the moisture to evaporate. I would like to see perfect pass come up with a solution.

My 2006 PP display also has the same behavior following the boat being wet and having the cover on all night. It comes back after the sun bakes it for a bit, but its annoying...2018 Ski Nautique 200 TE, H6

i have an 06 210 with the display doing the same thing. Definately is moisture related. it's been worse this summer with all the rain. i typically keep it it in an enclosed storage unit at my home lake. However, when we go on week long trips and the boat stsys in a slip it is a daily occurance. very annoying.
I saw the comment about the PP speeding up around turns. I've also experienced this to the point that I chucked my my wife thru a double up at about 30 once...... She was not happy to say the least. After talking with my local dealer, one thought- water chop could attribute to it. For me it only happens when i turn to the right. The paddlewheel is under the boat on the port side of the boat. When you turn to the right the paddlewheel could slightly come out of the water with a little wind chop causing the reading to get screwed up and then the computer trying to adjust for it. I have not experienced it when i make my turns towards the port side. Its just a theory though.....2018 SANTE 230 - H5
