How to tighten tower on 2008 SAN 230?

    All,

My tower seems to be a little loose compared to previous years. Rear bolts etc seem fine (easily accessible). Front bolts seem harder to get to. Do you have to remove the front seats? Any idea what size socket etc?

    Pics attatched.

    thx for any help////

Take the bow seat back off and you will see an 1-1/8 or 1/16 nut. Rear do the same.

I have an 06 SANTE and I have wondered the same thing - I am guessing I need to tighten mine too. My bow seats appear to be bolted to the fiberglass and from what I can see under the front passenger seat, if I was to unbolt it and pull it off, I would be staring at fiberglass. Now, i cannot see over on the side of the bow - only what is plainly viewable. I can see the tower nut too, it's bug so I need a big wrench - and there is very little room to turn the wrench once I find a way to it. I cant use a socket because the nut has wires coming out the end of it.
If anyone has ever pulled the bow seats off on an 06 SANTE, I'd love to know what's behind it and what the process is.

          Thanks

I am not sure about an 08 but on the 06 can't you lie on your back and scoot back under the observers seat to gain access? You might need a second set of hands on the top side but that is how I have done it on my 99 with a gen 1 tower. Then on the drivers side you can remove the kick panel and sneak under there if you are flexible. Hopefully you are not claustrophobic...
