Relays on 1995 Super sport naitique with gt40 engine/ engine wont start

Guys I have a 95 SS with a GT-40 engine. I have 2 relays right below the ECM test connector on the right side of the ECM if looking towards the back of the boat. And I have 2 relays just hanging on the left side of the ecm. When I ran the numbers the two relays hanging on the left side run the ecm and the fuel pump ,anyone know what the ones on the right side do? and where do the ones on the left mount? they have been hanging now for 5 years.

Today I changed the alternator with a 100 amp unit. I had to change some cables and whatnot. When I got finished, the boat would not start at all. It almost started one time, then died. I really think its the relay, but don't know for sure. I have 2 new relays and some plugs to fix the relays just hanging there, but have no idea how they are supposed to be mounted, anyone have a picture?

Im pretty sure its the fuel pump, everytime I turn the key to the on position I could here the fuel pump run, now I don't hear crap.
    Thanks

Well, after reading another post, I got all the info I need, someone posted a great relay and diagnose section.
Turns out the relays to the left must go to something that did not come on the boat originally. The boat has 4 ballast pumps with 2wy switches, heater, and shower, so they must be for that.

The relays to the left are for the Lift motor for the deck

I jumped into panic mode one day when mine would not start. Someone had knocked the lanyard loose on the kill switch. Sometimes it pays to start with the simple stuff.

Post #10 in this thread helps you identify the function of the engine relays on a GT-40.

The fuel pump, and computer relay can be on the right or left of each other, or even just hanging loose. You identify the relay bay wire color on the relay plug.

Just a follow up to this, the issue was the ECM. The relays had been acting up for quite some time (years).
The 100amp alternator, could have been the straw that broke the ECM's back. It already had one leg out the door
