Pink vinyl stains

I have seen various post regarding pink vinyl stains where folks indicate it is due to defective vinyl, or related to fungal growth. Never had it before, but now have on cushion in year old boat with the stains. This is one of the driest cushions. No ponk or red towels, clothing etc ever in boat. So far nothing has removed it.

I've had it in a couple of my previous boats. Consensus is that it is a bacteria living in the vinyl and the pink is a byproduct of metabolism. Unfortunately it can't be removed. Find a vinyl repair shop and have them spray dye the seat. I did it and it worked great.
