perfect pass not adjusting to rider's pull against boat (96 super sport, gt40)

I'm not sure if this is normal. Maybe I'm just not used to pulling riders that edge hard enough to slow my boat down!

sure enough, when pulling a buddy today, my boat would slow down a bit when he would edge super hard.

I always thought that perfect pass was supposed to adjust for this.

    I am using stargazer, btw.

could this have anything to do w/ the KDW setting???

    thanks in advance.

Possibly so, are you running a lot of ballast and are you using the factory setting?

I'm having the same issue sometimes in wakeboard mode, and just switch to rpm mode. I was assuming I was losing the gps reception. I think the KDW setting is at 85 maybe. if you find a better setting that works, chime in please.

Definitely play around with the setting, gradually adjusting. If you are running a bunch of ballast, there may be only so much PP can do. You may need to reprop, but I would play with your KDW setting first.

My setting is at 95-100, but Mine is direct drive with about 2000 in ballast.
