History I know of I just purchased of Neihbor
at some point bilge filled with water and sat
boat would turn over due to starter locked up replaced and she's good motor is in great health only 500 hours on boat!
take to lake last week boat ran great for 5 mins came in to pick up family headed out and tranny started slipping brought boat in and found tranny fluid was milky ,
today vac pumped all milk out, then I used my pop of pump for jet ski carbs and tested transcooler but removing hoses and pumping about 30psi in cooler. gauge didn't seem to budge so I assumed no leaks?
Refilled unit ( book said 1.3 quarts, think I used little more than that to get full) and took to lake, ran again for 5-10 mins and stated slipping
brought in and checked fluid none on dip stick!
Poured another quart and a half in to bring the level up, so now I've dumped almost 3 quarts in since this morning, took boat back out and ran good for 2 mins and same thing checked tranny and no fluid on stick! Where is this stuff going? It's not in the bilge? Is there another way to test the cooler?
