    Extreme pull in Steering!

I just replaced the steering cable do to stiffness. I just took the boat out and it now pulls or basically turns to the left when I let go of the steering wheel at higher speeds. What can I do to correct this.

    RE: Extreme pull in Steering!

Check out your rudder, it was probably filed on the left side to give it some pull and eliminate the neutral steering feel. If you don't want it to pull to the left so much file the right side trailing edge of the rudder. Hold the file at 45 deg when filing. It takes some work, I'd suggest doing it a little at a time until the steering feels right for you. I have filed my rudder so there is a pull to the left, it makes it easier to drive in the slalom course. Good luck
