I was on vacation earlier this week towing a wakeboarder when perfect pass shut off then came back on. I stopped and turned off the boat and checked all my connections and then lost all power. My 60A breaker on the motor was tripped. Motor is a gt40. I reset the breaker and then pulled my rider again and it did the same thing. I shut off my boat turned my battery switch to off then back on and the problem continued to happen. every time the breaker would trip my voltage would shoot up to 14 from 12v. Every time i reset the breaker my voltage would be back down around 12. Both batteries are interstate deep cycle that were brand new this year and fully charged before this trip. I have since only used one battery and my voltage is around 12.5 and i have not had the problem. I checked all my grounds on my block and have also checked all battery connections. When i start the boat on one battery my voltage is at 14.5 but after it idles down it rests around 12. Anybody have any suggestions?
