    2003 SANTE died on water, won't re-start

Searched the forums and couldn't find a similar problem to what happened to me today, so I'm hoping someone might have some insight into the problem. Had the boat out and engine was running fine, no signs of any trouble. We hit a wave, not a very big one, came down and the engine died. I thought at first we had hit something, so I dove in and checked the prop and rudder, and they were fine. Tried to restart and the boat cranked fine but would not fire up. I then noticed that the tach and speedo needles were frozen where they were when the engine died and all the other gauges were not functioning. I tried all the ways I could think of to reset the gauges, but they would not go through the start up sequence and reset.

The keypad works fine and all accessories are still functional. I checked the 3 fuse block on the engine and they were all good. Unfortunately, I'm thinking my gateway box has died, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar problem and if there might be a simple fix I am missing. Any ideas appreciated.

Disregard. Decided to try and bypass the kill switch, and voila! it fired right up. I didn't realize the kill switch would disable the gauges like that. I'm always learning something new about my boat.
