    Oil Pressure

Just recently did first oil change in my 2012 210 with the 343 motor. What is normal operating oil pressure at say idle and then what should it go to at 20-25mph? Thanks in advance for any help

Good rule of thumb is 10psi per 1000rpm. Most of my engines seem to be this way. Give of take a bit.

Wow really? The gauge on the linc goes up to 80psi and I was idling around 40. The oil level is right at the full marker I guess I'll pull a little out. Thanks

At idle... around 650 rpm's my oil pressure is around 33. Surfing at around 2000 rpm's my oil pressure is around 56.

I have the 450 in my 210. Oil is slightly above full on dip stick. It came that way from the factory.

my 330 idles cold near 60 then a little over 40 after being heated up.

I've never really noticed cruising pressures.

Note the oil suggested by PCM is much more viscous than GM specified for similar highway engines....so the pressures are going to be higher than the rules of thumb.

Thinking of this thread, I glanced at my oil pressures yesterday. While boarding at 19.5 miles per hour and about 3000 rpm's pressure was like 55. If I remember right.
