    2005 Air Nautique 210

Friend of mine is having some issues with their 210 ...

Battery is ok, and starter engages with the engine will not fire.

They have a tendency to run the fuel low, and I know on my Mastercraft X1 that causes some issues and kills the fuel pump (and i get a similar symptom). I usually pull my fuel pump out and replace the actual pump part in the canister.

Ive not worked on the engine in this boat (is it the PCM 351, hes going to check for me... but for some reason i think it is that one) and was wondering how the fuel system is setup in these boat...

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Nothing?

No one ever had problems with the fuel pump or filter on this motor?

Where are the relays located, ive heard that here are 2 of them which sometimes go bad? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also where is the filter that gets clogged located? Like i said im not familair with this engine but was told sometimes i gets clogged?

Have you checked the safety lanyard? i have heard of them going bad and people have bypassed them. I had mine come unhooked and it took me awhile to figure it out.

Check the safety lanyard and open the hatch to listen for the pump to prime when you turn the key to on/engage the keypad. If the safety lanyard is not solidly connected or the switch has gone bad the pumps will not get power. There is an anti-siphon valve on the fuel tank that sometimes gets clogged and there is a filter in the FCC(black canister) that can also get clogged. If the safety lanyard doesn't solve your problem then find out which engine your buddy has and start reading up on FCC maintenance, relay and breaker location in the manual (http://www.planetnautique.com/vb3/co...Owners-Manuals).
