Andrew great job! Something I noticed with them deployed. It looks like there is more plate that will be in the water than on a 230. You may not need to lengthen on the ram.

So you are telling us we have to wait two weeks before we can see the wave!! That's just wrong Sir! Out right wrong! Worse than Christmas!! LOL

I have looked at some many photos to compare an honestly II cant decide if they are long enough or not. I am glad to hear that you think they are long enough because I cannot decide one way or the other. They are mounted further outboard then normal so that may help.

Yep, two weeks. You think its bad, how do you think I feel?

Video uploading now. I will post shortly but I am claiming a success on this. Could not wipe the smile off my face all morning! Finally no more moving people or ballast around for switching between naturals and goofy's.

Heaps of push and normally I need a bigger wave to ride my phase 5 board. This board was lovin our wave!

Here's a pic of the wife riding the bad side (starboard side is always better no matter what due to the prop rotation)

Wow that's awesome! Guess I'm onto my next project for my 99 super air . Do u think the wake would benefit extending the plate out more or would it hurt it?

What size ss plate did u use?

That is super awesome. Now, just run this through your marketing department and hook a fellow 220 brother up. This thread grows longer everyday so maybe I missed it but where did you run the wires through the transom and did you use any connectors in the event you need to service an actuator? Any more thought about the Lenco's or do you think the stroke is plenty with yours?

                      Nice job!

So at what point do you just start taking orders?

I can send you the template from the back of my 211!

But seriously, would you consider sharing some of the CAD files and parts list so that some of us over here can get started on our winter projects. I have a million questions around what angle you used on the actuator and some of the mounting bits. Also, now that you look back, do you really think you needed to go as high up the side? I was wondering if I could keep it all under the swim platform height so that I don't need to shift it back like you did.

I just ordered my Arduino board to build up the controls. I'm hoping to also tank-bust this winter and then see if I can use some pressure resistors to feed my ballast gauge. Seeing you do this has been an inspiration and is getting me off my butt to actually do some of the stuff I have been thinking about.

                      Enjoy the surfing!

Not sure if extending the plate out further would help. That is one of questions that I will never know. It does bug me a bit and I have been concerned with that all along. BUT, at the end of the day it does everything that I expected so I can't really ask for anymore

Sorry mate, not going to be making any for others anytime soon!

I ran the wires though a hole in the backing plate that was just big enough to get the cable through. Putting a plug on this cable would mean that the hole in the back of the boat would be excessive to fit a plug through and then seal. So instead i just did a neat hole and solder joint inside.

The lectro tab appears to do the job but if I built another one, I would use the lenco to put my mind at rest and not die wondering. The lenco is about 5mm longer in the body. It does not sound much but there is barely 5mm more room to fit it.

2mm slider, backing plate and retainer plate are 3mm
