I just had my steering cables replaced since the steering was relatively stiff. It's much better now with the exception that it oversteers to the left and understeers to the right. Sounds like the cables need to be adjusted?
My question is, how much "play" is to be expected? I can move the steering wheel approximately 3" each way before I start to turn the boat. Is this normal? My boat is a 95 super sport and this is the first v-drive i've had since my 85 2001.
