    SV211 electrical questions from Newbie

Thanks for the prior answers to my questions. This boat (Team Edition SV211 2004) is new to me and the owners manual is cryptic. I finally found the trap door for the drain plug and the water intake under the carpet. I still have no power to the keypad. I have charged the batteries, made sure the Perko switch is on either battery (or both) and have the bilge pump cutoff switch on the "all on" position. I have checked the fuses and the main 60 amp circuit breaker on the motor and all seem to be good. I have removed and replaced the cutout lanyard to cycle this cutout switch. When the cutout lanyard switch is defective, will all the power to the controls be off or does the bilge and horn continue to work? (neither does)

Is there another "cutout" circuit switch that I am missing? Could the Perko switch be defective?

How do I find out what size engine I have in the boat? It is a Team Edition SV 211 and has a PCM engine. I looked for any tags or plates and cannot find them.

Finally, I have a Dorsey trailer. The wheels are 6 bolt 15 inch with tire size of 225/75r15. What replacement rim can I purchase to place a spare on the trailer?

Thanks again for consideration. This forum is very helpful!

Are you getting the bilge to run when it is on the bilge only setting? Many people have had issue with the switch (myself included in my 2003SAN). Do a search and you will find a lot of info, but the gist is that $4 part is the bottle neck of all electronics of the boat.

The bilge will not run when the switch is in any position. I imagine I can remove the faceplate of this switch and bypass the possibly defective contact. I will do some more searching.

      Thanks

It is possible that your problem is the battery perko switch. Ours broke on the water on a 2011 boat last weekend. You can hook both leads from battery 1 on the same post on the switch and see if you have power

Seems that others have pretty well discussed your power issue. Just get into it with your voltmeter to find where you are losing power.

For engine size, if you can't find the plate or recognize the block, call your nautique dealer with your HIN and correctcraft can probably get it. Is the plastic spark arrester cover missing? Usually the engine HP (330 I believe is the 5.7 that year) is right on it.

I think a standard 6 bolt 15" trailer wheel should work. You can take the measurement between bolts to be sure.

Thanks again for the help. It turns out that there is a master breaker directly next to the Perko switch which the detached side wall of the insulated engine compartment tripped. The electrical system now works.
