    Perfect Pass Issues

I have a 2003 206 that I bought this year, I cant get the perfect pass to work. I turn it on while in neutral set my speed and hit the gas, when I reach the set speed it beeps but the speed keeps climbing. Any Ideas on what could be wrong or what to check?

On our boat on the first engine start of the day, PP stargazer will not hold. Goes way past, drops way down, speeds back up again beeps, shoots past and then slows way back down again. Over and over.

However, if you turn the engine off after it does it once, and restart, It works perfectly the rest of the day. People at PP gave a bunch of advice that had nothing to do with it, like they didn't even read my description. Since I can make it work, I've never messed with it any more.

Your problem sounds different. At the PP website there are some procedure for checking stuff like the stepper motor, etc.

Other things you can check right away are all of the connections, and see what voltage it is getting. Voltage and ground issues are big with PP.

P.S. when you are almost at your set point, you can back off the throttle a little to help it set and not shoot over so far. Does it ever get back down to your set speed?

I had the same issue on my old 2003 210... the stepper motor turned out to be the problem in my case.

Their website has instruction videos on how to troubleshoot and run diagnostics. Maybe as simple as a loose connection.
