We are having some issues with the starter motor on our nautique with a GT40 engine.
As all starter motors the solenoid on top of the starter breaks. Its almost always the culprit for a bad starter. (so knocking on the starter while hitting the start button is the only way to start it)
I have 3 starters for the GT40 all with the same problem. Bad solenoid.
It is easy to dismantled takes like 30 sec when you have the starter in hand, but still i cannot find a replacment part. Nautiques says i have to buy a new starter, but i have 3 starters that only has a bad solenoid.
And here in europe i have had no luck in finding a replacement part, any one here who can give me a part no, or direct me to a place where i can buy this part.
