2013 Nautique G23 Throttle Lockout Ring Sticking

Anyone else have a problem with the throttle lockout ring sticking? Mine seems to get stuck in the up position which makes docking and maneuvering around fallen riders difficult. When it gets stuck up it is really easy to skip past neutral into forward or reverse. Anyone have any suggestions?

Nope. No issues with mine.

None with mine, although it took about 50 hours for the throttle to loosen up. Before that it was easy to skip a bit past neutral.

Hmm wonder what the deal is with mine. Almost like the plastic ring is too small for the shaft and gets wedged in the up position. Pretty annoying. Was hoping there was a quick fix so I didn't have to take it in to the dealer Not much season left so I guess I'll just deal with it until time comes to winterize it.

take it off and hit it with some emory cloth on a little wooden dowel on the inside of the ring, or just call your dealer and ask them to send you a new ring, on the house of course. if that does not work then perhaps it's an actual problem.

How is that possible? You're not holding the ring up when you put the boat in neutral, are you? If so, don't.

I really wasnt thinking correctly when I typed that. I meant to say, it was sticky out of neutral
