    Help with driving PerfectPass Slalom

Weve just setup PP pro for slalom with the magnet sensors. The system has been calibrated on the course for all speeds 46kph>.
It drives great in the course with the times on the nail all the time.
The problem is we dont seem to be able to throttle the boat on the turns. We ski on a narrow lake and when turning with PP on the skier sinks as we cant add more throttle as PP doesnt want it.

Previously we drove using the Wakeboard speed mode, and this was easier for the driver, as it tried to keep the spped in the turn but didnt do any timings.

Is this a common thing or are we doing something wrong when using the slalom mode?

    Any advice greatfully received.

If the required RPMs for the set speed are met, PP takes over. If you are driving/skiing at 28 MPH, the PP will engauge around 2800 rpms, and it takes over at that time. you will not have throttle control until you fall below the 2800 RPM. It should Beep when it takes over.

I suspect that you are putting the throttle all the way then letting the PP take over. When you do this the throttle handle can't go any farther. If you pull the throttle back about 1/2 way after it's engauged then you should be able to give it gas in the turns. Remember whenever the RPMs are over the desired setpoint the PP will try to slow it down. I think a hold feature would be good for turnarounds.

Stop at each end of the course. let the waves settle, start back up.

Thanks, at least it seems I have the same limitation on throttle control as everyone else. We'll just have to get a bit more practice using the system.

I'd love to stop and drop, but everyone waiting to ski would be going mental by the time we finished 6 passes!

It only is slowing down at the slower speeds correct? If so, that would be normal. At 34-36, you will get a slow down, but it is more than manageable for the skier.
