2007 SV211 w Exc 330 knock sensors

Hey Everyone-

Joining our gang on the lake by winterizing the boat myself this year (with help from some experienced guys) - anyway, looking through the forums, people tips say there is a knock sensor on the port side of the engine, and a drain on starboard. On my boat, it looks to me like there are knock sensors on both sides. Has anyone else seen this, or am I not finding the engine block drain on the starboard side?

Also, anyone have any tricks to making the impeller removal any easier? The rest of the gang has direct drives, so they were letting me know how much a PITA the V-drives are to work on.

2007 SV-211 Team - Excalibur 330

2007 330 has a knock sensor on each side. Remove with 22mm socket, drain, reinstall knock sensor. Do not use teflon tape, anti-seize, etc. when reinstalling. Light torque (approx 15 lb/ft). Remember to drain V-Drive. It is located at 6 O'clock on the front of the V-Drive. It is 1/2inch square that is removed with a 1/2inch socket extension.

Great - thank you for the reply, and the info on the V-drive square bolt. Was pulling my hair out trying to figure that one out. So not I have opened 7 drains on that engine (2 manifold, 2 block, trans cooler, red u-shaped water pipe on front of engine, and last the v-drive. Any tips on winterizing ballast tanks? They are empty. I figured I would put a gallon of anitfreeze into each vent, and run the pump in reverse for a few seconds. Any thoughts on that? If I was to blow compressed air into the tank, where do you blow it in from, the vent?
