2000 Sport Nautique Fuel Sending Unit Replacement

Hi all. My first time posting here, but hope someone can help. I am trying to replace the fuel sending unit on our 2000 Sport Nautique. Got all the panels off the back storage unit and the seat removed so I have access from both sides to the gas tank. Got the fuel sending unit unscrewed, but looks like I cannot get it out of the gas tank (because it is under the fiberglass between the boat and the storage locker) without moving the gas tank forward or backward. My problem is figuring out an easy way to move the gas tank. Looks like there are two T shaped brackets that hold the tank down and appears to be a threaded bar welded to the T. Do I have to get underneath and try to unscrew the threaded bar? The nut is in a really tight spot and it looks like it will be a pain. Anyone know an easier way?

Hi all. Figured this out myself. The two T-shaped brackets are bolted through underneath the gas tank. You have to come in under the gas tank from inside the storage locker to get to the nuts. It helps to have a flexible 13 year old to help you who has small arms and can flex into a position inside the storage locker to unscrew the nuts. Once he loosened the nuts enough, I was able to rotate the t-shaped brackets 90 degrees and then slide the gas tank far enough back into the storage locker to get the fuel sending unit out of the tank.
