Because the material would END at each joint like the motor box and the ski locker Each jointed needed to be finished. They were all sanded and resin finished.

Because the carpet wrapped around each floor board it raised the thickness. I had to re-make all my floor boards so they were the correct height and all the boards were flush with the floor. In total I had to make 4 new pieces. They were all made from plywood and then Epoxy resin coated and then Rhino Lined ( a elestomeric water proof coating) bed liner.

Once all the floorboards were done and flush with the floor I could begin the template Process. This is the clear plastic template material. This will serve as a road map for what Plas Deck will re make for me

Once all the plastic is layd out on the floor you can begin adding details like Margin's (these are borders that add detail to the floor)
You don't have to add margins you can simply choose to have a matt made and call it a day. But by adding boarder around the motor box ect it makes the floor look more custom. This requires you to basically re-assemble the whole boat so you can see where things like the motor box and the rear seat sit. From there you can make out your margins. This also drives up the cost. The blue tap is used to make straight lines as well as define boarders. The string running threw the center of the boat marks "the center line" This center line is so the lines in the floor are even side to side.

The factory gets your template and scans in into a CNC machine and they send you back this BluePrint to give you a idea what your floor is going to look like and how its going to lay out.

It takes about 3 weeks from the time they receive your template till the time your floor arrives at your door. they were nice enough to send me some pictures of it in production b4 it shipped out.

I quickly threw it in the boat to see how it fit! I was amazed at how well it fit I had to absolute ZERO trimming or fitting. It fit like a glove

So little by Little I started to peel back small sections of the floor and lay down the glue.
