99 SS question

I am preparing to do the cup holder mod that others have done here (delmage, brichter). The carpeted trays on each side are attached to the seatback somehow. There is no visible connection or screw head. I don't want to damage anything trying to take them apart. Does anyone know how these are put together? Thanks, Ray

I think there is a screw running up from the bottom tray into the combing pad(seat back) on each side of the opening into the combing pad. At least that's how they were on mine if I remember right. You may have to remove carpet to get to the screw head.

The seat back had a rubber circular point where it contacted the carpeted tray but it wasnt attached to the tray. Have you taken your seat bottoms completely out? The tray shoukd just fall to the floor. Thats what it did for me
