    Barefoot Nautique Cover Lift

I am working on a Barefoot Nautique. The cover lift is not operating as desired.
The pump motor will operate in one direction, only. The switch on the dash lights in each direction.
The motor is a 2-wire motor and it will operate in either direction if I flip the wiring, so there must be an inverter somewhere to flip the polarity to the motor.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for diagnostics and parts list?
Else, I have to go point-to-point.
    Thanks,
    J

Are you talking about the electronic actuator that lifts and lowers the engine hatch on a V-Drive Barefoot Nautique? If so I assume this is the same setup that was used on Super Sports and Super Airs with one piece hatches. Sounds like one of your relays is toast or there is a loose connection. There is some information here for you: http://www.planetnautique.com/vb3/sh...aulic-Sun-Deck

I had trouble locating the correct part number so your best bet might be to take out the bad relay and bring it to a competent auto parts supplier so they can match it up. Be sure to take pictures before you disconnect the wiring so you can wire it back up correctly.

Thank you, Shawn. You are correct. Although I haven't determined the year, this is a v-drive. And, yes, I am looking for that electronic "actuator". Thank for the link. I'll take a look.
      Cheers!
