    2005 Air Nautique Wont Start

So I have a 05 226 Air Nautique that has been giving me problems starting. It is an intermittent problem that started in June. I replaced the Fuel relay in June and after that have had absolutely no issues until now. I now punch the code in, the perfect pass powers up, none of the gauges power up, the starter turns but the boat doesn't fire. I swapped out the 3 relays on top the motor next to the computer but nothing. I can hear a clicking noise from what seems to be coming from the computer, but not sure? The fuel pumps to not seem to always kick on either but I can smell fuel when turning over? Thoughts on where to start? Am I having fuel pump issues or computer?

Thanks for the advice. Did just that tonight and still the same issue? Any other ideas?

PCM MEFI Manual.pdfNot sure if this will help, but page 199 table a-3 has a good trouble shooting table to track the problem down without a lot of guessing. A ton of good information in here. Good luck.

Have you checked the grounds??? I had similar random non starting issues one the water last summer and it turned out to be a loose ground wire.

Not sure about 05 models, but 03 and earlier models have an inline fuse close to the battery that will go bad and lose power to gauges.

Seems as though it was a loose wire on the harness leading to the fuel relay. Tightened up and works great! Thanks for the tips guys!
