Hi everyone,
Trying to do the digital-to-analog gauge conversion for my Dad's 2001 Air Nautique. The Tachometer works great, but the speedo isn't working right. When docked, the speedo reads 8 mph, and is only matches the perfect pass readout when going 33mph. I have tried adjusting the dial on the back of the gauge, and also have adjusted the external potentiometer that came with the kit. 8mph is the "slowest" I can get the speedo to read.
I followed the directions that came with the kit, but I needed to make one unexpected modification. The Perfect Pass jumper that came with the kit had a 4 wire connector.... but my perfect pass only used a 3 wire connector. So I spliced the original connector onto the jumper to make it all work. I'm guessing my issues are with the signal the perfect pass is sending the speedo, but not sure.
Any help you can give would greatly appreciated.
