I just got booted for not logging back in before posting my long reply. I guess this is a good way of keeping replies short. :x

Basically, I think CC was completely at fault for not painting my tower in FL. Ramlin was aware of the job but never got the boat. Luckily, my dealer is more understanding and gave me a credit for receiving a bare tower and picked up the cost of the powder coat.

In your case, I believe CC and the dealer are at fault for not making it clear first that the paint might fade, and second, that if it did, it would not be covered under the 5 yr. promise.

I would call Jeff Warner and express your disatisfaction and maybe you'll get some credit for first paint job. Afterall, you already paid for paint job once and now you're going to have to pay more to first strip the tower and then get it painted again. Remember, their is a discount for getting a bare tower too, did you get that when you bought the boat?

This is an on going problem with CC and their dealers. It's time that CC makes a policy on tower painting and puts it in writing.
