Hi, I did a search but couldn't find anything so..
Has anyone else has any dramas with your throttle in a FBW model?
On the weekend, The boat was OK to begin with, but when we stopped to get ready for a board, we went to pull the first rider up, got to about 15mph and the boat died. Throttle obviously somehow set to closed, release throttle and reapply, nothing! Engine still idling, shifting into F and R no problems, but lost throttle altogether.
Switch power off, restart boat, throttle comes back online and away we go.
This happened 3-4 times, and then was fine for the rest of the day.
Could there be a loose connection somewhere? Is the sensor in the throttle prone to failure? Is the servo in the TB a known troublemaker? Is there any way for me to test which was causing me grief if it ever happens again?
On a side note, my zero off has been playing up every now and again (NO GPS or GPS signal lost) although they would share a few signals like throttle position to activate, I find it hard to believe they're related but thought I would give this info just in case.
cheers
