hard to move the steering wheel

This year the steering wheel on my 94 Ski Nautique is extreemly hard to move. It hasn't been keeping us from skiing but parking is tough. Does anyone know the fix?

Sounds like you're gonna need a new steering cable. Contact Ski Dim, they should be able to help you out. If they can't your dealership should be able to hook you up.

It's just one of those things that goes bad after so many years.
    How about \"Chales\"?

A new cable is the best option. But if you are on a budget it may be possible to fix the old one. I did it three years ago, and my cable is still OK. After winter storage the steering wheel was hard to turn. I removed the cable (this you will have to do anyway) and put it straight on the ground. Lift up the rear end and put on a suitable rubber hose approx 15" long secured with a hoseclamp. Hang up that end of the cabel (with the hose pointing upwards) a few feet over the ground (I used a fence). Fill the hose with thin oil and leave it like that over night and let gravity do the job. If the oil do not come out the other end of the cable I put pressure on it by using a greasegun. My boat is a -94 SN with 1700 hours on the clock, still with the original steering cable...
