Stained Vinyl HELP

I need help in finding something to remove these mildew stains. I stole this boat(97 SNOB) from this guy this past week, and he did not take care of it. He had it covered in a boat lift for I do not know how long and just wanted it gone. So anyway I cleaned for hours (using soap , Fantastik and lots of elbow grease) but there are still faint mildew stains all over that I cannot get out and it is driving me crazy. Anybody know of something(besides new vinyl) that will do the trick. Please help I am a clean freak.

Go to G&T vinyl website or MSG marine specialties group and purchase their vinyl cleaner. Same company that manufactures CC vinyl. Just follow the instructions on the bottle. Product is incredible

A product called "Krazy Kleen" always worked well for us. If the MSG stuff doesn't clean it up, try that - just make sure that you follow the instructions. It's carried at most Marine supply stores.

I dug through my boat file and found the Marine Specialty Group Literature that Correct Craft provides with the purchase of a new Nautique.

If you look at Marine Specialty Groups Website (http://www.marinespecialtiesgroup.com) they have this information in the products tab. Has cleaning recommendations for all kinds of stains. Including Mildew or Wet Leaves

For Mildew: Step 1. One (1) teaspon of ammonia, one fourth (1/4) cup of hydrogen peroxide, three- fourth (3/4) cup of water. RINSE/Dry. Step 2. Vinyl Cleaner or Fantastic (Thanks again Dragon) Step 3: Medium-soft bresu, warm soapy water RINSE/Dry

I have the Vinyl Finish Vinyl Cleaner made by Marine Specialty Group (it is next to impossible to find except from them) and I wil have to say it cleans very well. I used it on the Excursion also (I have five hellions who can make a mess some times).

Long list of DONT's

Formula 409 (states on the bottle not to use on vinyl), Murphy's Oil Soap, Simple Green, DC Plus, Armor All, Top Kote Sealant, Son-of-a-Gun, Orange 88 Degreaser, Rool Off, Bleach/Baking Soda, Turtle Wax/Tar Remover (states not to use on vinyl), APCO, and Harbor Mate.

Obviously not gasoline, kerosene or acetone as these will remove the protective marine top coat. Do not use any silicon base protectants as they will extract the plasticizer, leaving the vinyl hard and brittle and eventually cracking will occur.

Just bought a 2005 SAN Team and my sales guy recommended goof-off. Tried it a couple of times and it works great. I now keep a small can in the glove box. Works on all kinds of things from duct tape residue to mysterious seat marks.
