    Replacement Hoses

I have been working correcting the cooling system on my 2002 SANTE. PO had removed the raw water strainer and completely rerouted everything. After much frustration on deciphering proper routing of hoses and how to make what I had work, I pulled all the 1 1/4 hoses off the boat. Upon inspection, they really needed to be replaced. Local boat shops did not have enough, but could order it for $7.50/ft (back ordered) and up and could only get it in 12'6" sticks. At minumum I needed 13' to replace the worst sections. I found an industrial hose supply company had it for $3.95/ft. Same hose, but labeled "suction hose." Their target market is the oil and gas industry. I now have 20' length of hose that cost me $85. If you need hoses, shop the industrial hose guys. They got it all for less.
